Casual Tutors

In addition to contracted teaching staff, the Oldham Music Service has a team of Casual Tutors with skills across all instrumental, vocal, classroom and music therapy disciplines.

Casual Tutors provide cover for teacher absence and create capacity for expansion as required. Successful applicants will have experience of and will be expected to deliver either small group instrumental tuition, Classroom Instrumental Lesson programmes, EYFS and / or KS1/2 Class Music programmes.

A relevant music qualification and teaching experience are essential and a teaching qualification is desirable.

Some evening and weekend work may be offered and the ability to travel between schools and other venues is essential.

Hours: As required to fulfil the service level teaching commitments of the Music Service.
