The Oldham Music Centre Youth Wind Band will be performing at the national finals of the National Concert Band Festival. This will take place at the Royal Northern College of Music on 9 April.

This event will feature some of the best wind bands from across the UK. Performance at the finals is by invitation only. The Music Centre Youth Wind Band received its invitation following a superb performance at the regional heats in November. The band was outstanding at this event, and gained the top award of ‘Platinum’. Naturally, it will be looking to repeat this achievement at the Finals.

The Youth Wind Band will be performing a selection of Sousa Marches, ‘Amazing Grace’ and ‘I Am The Doctor’.
