It’s back! After a two year break the Music Centre’s flagship Music Festival returns to Parliament Square on 9th July 2022.
There will be more than 50 performances throughout the day across two stages and at the Lyceum – plus a pop-up youth market, (10am – 4pm) selling locally sourced goods from some of Oldham’s youngest entrepreneurs.
Visitors can enjoy a musical feast from Oldham Music Centre bands, choirs, brass bands, guitarists, orchestras, rock bands and choirs, to name just a few. The performers range from the centre’s youngest musicians who are only 7 or 8 years old, to some of the more experienced members of the community ensembles.
Those looking for a unique shopping experience will be able to shop at the pop-up youth market, featuring local traders aged 25 and under.
The fun starts at 11.00 am and continues until 7.00 pm. Please come along and enjoy this sensational, free summer festival.
